After a week on a really cheap mattress in our little holiday home in Lewis, I knew we needed to change our mattress at home. The thing is, I slept like a log on the cheap mattress, the best night's sleep I've had in ages. That's not the case in our own bed, on our very goo, very expensive, chosen with care, mattress. We both wake up in pain.
WE'D HURT LESS IF WE WENT 5 ROUNDS WITH MIKE TYSON!
Then we went to our friends place in France and slept on an airbed. It was BLISS, despite waking up EVERY time I turned over.
The same thing last weekend, airbed and two great night's sleep.
So today, after school, I went to BRISTOL and bought a MEMORY FOAM MATTRESS.
It came in a roll and was compressed to about 2in thick!
We unpacked it, read the instructions, rolled it out flat, threw it on the bed and watched as it expanded to nearer 6in thick.
By the time we went to bed, it had risen another inch or so.
After a night or two on it, I can definitely say I wasn't impressed.
*It was a bit too firm
*We seemed to be experiencing ROLL TOGETHER.
*It was giving me a numb leg.
*MeWallys neck hurt.
The instructions tell us it will continue to rise for up to 12 days.
MATRON, THE SCREENS : )
We'll keep you four posted!
