Big day today. Not school, that's not big, or clever - HO HO! My big day was this evening between school and food. This afternoon the rain poured down, proper cats and dogs. There was no way I was going to walk the 20 or so minutes to my destination, so I attempted to drive to it. I waited around for a bit to let the end of school rush subside and then JUMPED IN MY CAR. I headed to the COBALT CLINIC, only a couple of minutes drive from the school and conveniently located in a CARAVAN, in a car park. What could be easier?
Bloody rain. I reckon the world and his wife had turned out to pick up soggy pedestrian rellies/mates. The net result: GRIDLOCK. I sat in a jam for 20 minutes, creeping along, towards my deadline. 10 minutes before my ETA I'd had enough, I pulled into the Stroud College car park, left the car in a parking bay and legged it. I made it to the clinic in the nick of time.
It turns out I'm the last girl in today; this week, so it's fast track for me. Every one wants to get away for the weekend - including me. I love to feel the EMPATHY. None the less, I had to face the sordid reality, that if we were all to get home tonight I would have to LOSE THE BRA.

Not the easiest task to do on a wet, cold day. Thankfully the radiographer was a warm haded, lovely, swift working woman, who manipulates the breasts of 60 women a day!
Now that's 2 shots per boob, 4 shots per pair/woman, that's 240 shots a day (minimum, because she checks the results before she gives you back your bra. If there's a problem, she takes more shots, then hands back your INTIMATE APPAREL). I make that a hard days work.
There,
you see, maths is easy!!
She's the MEGA MAMMOGRAM MAMA : )
And I'm left waiting WEEKS for my LIFE AND DEATH results.
HEY HO
