There's an Elephant in my room.
It's big and it's grey and it's casting a shadow as well as blocking my usual view of the world.
You see, no matter how much you think you're going to get done, it wont add up to a hill of beans if, before you start, you have to clamber all the way up and over that bloody elephant.
Our garden's looking pretty good, the house – dreadful!
But the house isn't the elephant in the room.
Work's been Ok, though frost limits the gardening side of earnings.
But the frost isn't the elephant in the room.
So what's the elephant?
PEOPLE!
To be fair, it's not the people, it's their problems.
Here, then , in strict order are the problems:-
One friend has spine cancer, one has fallen out with her family, one has died, my dad's had a tumour removed – don't know if it's nasty yet, MeWally's got a hacking cough (never seen him cough before), one customer has lung cancer
(NEVER SMOKE).
(NEVER SMOKE).
I do keep this little blog cheery, which isn't difficult as I find life is generally fun/ny,
BUT....
This was the last straw - bit over dramatic I know - I hadn't even noticed the missing tax disc, some idiot had nicked it (I'll try to keep the car locked in future), and a parking ticket was next to it - and yes, I had noticed the double yellows!
After all that,
I simply haven't had the space to jot down those little things that continue to make my days lighter:
SORRY
After my 6 week roller coaster ride, things are getting back onto an even keel again,
probably.
