Rust In Peace

I've been admiring this car for a few years. It reminds me of the old cars you can find rotting in quiet, private places all over the world.

At last I was able to spend a couple of minutes taking some pictures

and it was a revelation.!

The closer I looked, the more I could see.


I was finding life everywhere,

clinging to every surface, 

no matter how smooth it may be.

Crevices are perfect for leafy lichens to develop

which means that the terrain of the vehicle name is a haven for these simple life forms.

How long will it be before this car becomes part of nature?
