It was our last day on the Isle Of Man and we were killing time in the pleasingly twee seaside resort of Douglas, when I saw this:-
At the GAIETY THEATRE the signs were up for the forthcoming show,
On the side of the RED VAN the name of the company was BUCHAN.
What, I thought to myself are the chances of that?
I called over MeWally to take a look.
"What are the chances of that?" He asked.
We chortled a bit at our Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dumness in Tweetown and then I took a picture, as I do.
Now I know what's on the side of the van,
BUCHANAN.
BUCHANAN.
It sums up our holiday and, to some extent, life;
NOT EVERYTHING IS AS IT FIRST APPEARS
and
IF IT LOOKS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS.
