What a day!
The PLOT was open today for the public to visit -
and visit they did.

Amidst all the excitement, my favourite ORNAMENT was leaving me
It's lived opposite my POTTING SHED since I took on my gorgeous PLOT.
: (
They tied a big fat battery to it.
Yelled,
"CLEAR!!!!!!"
And drove it out of my inner sanctum.
My emotions ran away with me.
"Nooooooooo!!!!!!"
And, as if it was desperate to stay, it
CONKED OUT
: )
I wandered about as the MEN did their thing,
offering it a photographic caress.
Loving its mess,
knowing it had once been the king
that once brought life to each spring
and would once again.
CRUSH!
That white van, full of the tools
that force the inner workings
to do their bidding.
Get a grip girl.
It's only a tractor.
My tractor.
Mine.
Me.
Mmm.....
