No gardening today,
for obvious reasons,
so I went to school instead. Only for a couple of hours. I assumed the teacher was stuck because of flooding - like the local nursery rhyme,
Dr ???? : )
Went to Gloucester (-shire),
All on a rainy day.
She stepped in a puddle,
Right up to her middle
And never went there again.
When I got to her lab,
things were clearly much worse than I could have imagined.
The pupils were happy as she'd lost the power of speech.
