Watching the Formula One Grand Prix on the computer.
MeWally, out of the blue, from his end of the sofa, "I'll have a Pastor Maldonado please,"
Me, straight in. like a rat up a trouser leg (oh please don't get me on the rat thing), "Would sir like pepper with that?"
He nods smuggly, like you do.
Me, "Parmesan?"
Him, "Shaven or grated?" He just HAD to ask, didn't he?
And that's why I was NEVER a waitress.
