A day of pottering, Freezing weather. Up quite early. MeWally went off to shop for, and scrounge things to take with us next week. I did a bit of cleaning and food shopping in the morning.
What to do in the afternoon, that is the question? Make cakes, lots and lots of them. Some to take with us and share next week, some to take to Dartmoor in 3 weeks and one to give to my dad in a couple of weeks. So we have apple flapjacks, sticky date cake to eat hot or cold and spicy ginger cake.
Having no oven’s a pain. I had to trawl the ‘raw’ cakes to a friends. Luckily they went in to hers in one stick. What would we do without friends?
