MeWally spent part of the day working on the house and the rest pottering, as well as watching the Grand Prix qualifiers.
Me? I went off to have some quality R&R at my friend Brendas' workshop at a craft centre in the Midlands called JINNEY RING, and it's only about an hour from my place.

BRENDA was running a course on making
FELT HANDBAGS
I had a great morning getting my bag started off. Then we all took a break and she and I chatted in her shop as we snaffled our lunch.
I love her shop/workshop, everything in here has been made by Brenda. She is a true legend, having exhibited in the V&A, and won national design competions.
It's a magical place, full of colour and inspiration
Where a good laugh is the order of the day!! Please don't ask what had tickled our fancy this time!
See my craft blog http://muddymaker.blogspot.com/ for piccys and details of my amazing bag making day.
It had been a lovely day, but was a bit late to go back to Brendas' for the evening, so I went home, cooked a curry, got the candles going
and we then ate our meal, alfresco, accompanied by a bottle of wine given to us by one of our neighbours.
After all our efforts today, MeWally and I settled down to watch the entertainment laid on by our BACKYARD MICE and their twins.
AHGGGHH BLESS!!!
