Yesterday and today I was able to drag my sorry ass out of the pit and into the countryside at an unearthly hour. Both days were hot and steamy; 90f on Friday, similar to Thursday.
The woods are in full leaf now and are palpably darker than they were earlier in the year.
Saw this feather caught n the grass.
Never touched it guvna. Simply took a snap of it.
Spent today gardening 4 money. So hot on Friday that I had to keep taking short 'shade breaks' or die!
No time to get to the Garden Plot this week - too busy. Decided I would have to go there on Saturday morning before heading to Brendas' for the weekend.

Dad tootled home on Wednesday. He had planned to go on Tuesday, but it turned out to be a day of torrential, persistent,
rainfall. I didn't want him driving down the motorway in those conditions, because, instead of of getting home, he would've become an embarrassing statistic.
