MeWally is now 60. His birthday was in August, we went to Cornwall and chilled, surfed, walked, ate in fine restaurants. All very nice. We even had a little bit of sunshine.
Ten years before, for his 50th birthday, we went to Hawaii, visiting all the main islands and one or two tiny dots in the Pacific. We chilled, surfed, walked, ate in fine restaurants. We had endless sunshine.

None of us is getting any younger. If we're very lucky, we continue to become older and bring a modicum of joy to those whose lives we're privileged to brush up against. If we're unlucky, the best we can hope for is that we're missed for all the right reasons.
We don't get long on this creaking planet, so remember:-
