Minchinhampton Common - Friday 28.1.11

After a day of sanding, filling, sanding, filling, sanding, filling, sanding, filling, sanding ........

I drove across the common as the sun went down and

was gifted this wonderful sunset.

WOW!

Minchinhampton Common Wednesday 8.12.10

Probably our last GLORY DAY.

Minchinhampton Common, Gloucestershire, UK
So soak up the UTTER BEAUTY of the Common.

For tomorrow it may be a sodden mess!

Minchinhampton Common Tuesday 7.12.10

Driving up towards MINCHINHAMPTON today, I bumped into IAN PETERS, who, like me was snapping away. Unlike me, he had time on his side. I was, as ever, heading off to the Turn Around House, but on such a stunning day ..... who can resist a moment to

PAUSE, LOOK, REFLECT?.

Any way, the upshot is, that in true competitive spirit,

I RAISED MY GAME.

Nice photo, even if I do say so myself.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Ruby Saturday 18.9.10

We saw the rotting poster of Ruby when we were out on our usual walk today. I saw the first one about the 8th of August. It's been a long time since she disapeared. Who knows where she went.

Ruby's still missing, but at knitting RHONA turned up with the most scrumptious PUPPY. The Puppy has no name, but will do within a couple of weeks.

We saw PRINCESS ANNES' PLACE (Gatcombe Park) was holding, yet another, horse event.

Our walk detoured up through Minch (Minchinhampton) taking us up Well Hill. If we keep doing all this walking, we'll never be 'well ill'  : )

PAST THE PUB, and the MARKET BUILDING,

and along BUTT STREET. LOL!!!!

What more could we want?  We headed home with a fist full of fungi,

NICE.
