Bored, bored, bored, bored, bored.

Our draft wills arrived this morning. Pretty depressing reading.  Gotta be done though. We'll pay up and look big: less money to leave to ??????  Ahh, that would be telling!

Couldn't get onto the garden plot because I had a bone in my leg. Oh; and the weather was wet, sleety, windy, dismal, icy. I see no reason to go out in that. Man, was I bored.

Lunch loomed following a morning of putting away the holiday stuff and doing the washing: yawn.

Nice pancake for my lunch. Cook on one side and enjoy the bubbles.

Then turn over, cook a bit more and eat with something sweet and sticky.

Began making some birthday cards, these ones for little boys.

The cutting out was very fiddly. The other kits I bought alongside this one were ready cut. All I needed to do was push the shapes out of the paper. No cutting required. That was over  a year ago and it's taken  me this long to find the patience to sit quietly and cut these out.

They look pretty good though. Perhaps I should  adjust the white balance.

In amongst the card making Gerry A. and I nattered on the phone. He browsed this blog site for the first time and made encouraging noises. I rather enjoyed that.

MeWally had Photoshop and Light Room arrive yesterday (software). No code numbers. He phoned Adobe ...for over an hour, as they confirmed everything, probably at our expense. Still it's in the computer now, at last. Well done Adobe. All you had to do was 4  things; open the box, put in the disc, close the box, stick the number label on the back. Sounds like pay peanuts, get monkeys.

I made a far too hot chilli tonight. Not looking forward to tomorrow; phnar phnar. As I cooked, the one paddle wonder was pressed into service to make the dough for some bread rolls. No, not MeWally, me half dead  bread machine. Having no bread machine and no oven is seriously cramping my style. The bread machine not only has a paddle missing, meaning I have to push the dough about to get all the ingredients to mix, but it also has an intermittent fault. It doesn't always start when I programme it, preferring to beep far too raucously, but, otherwise do nothing.
Still they came out of the machine looking pretty good and although I could cook a loaf in the one paddle wonder, I wont, because it makes a rubbish loaf. They were put under the wood burner to rise.

Bread rolls cook beautifully in the wood burner; as long as the whole set up is well prepared and the rolls are turned once half way through.
I'll have some of these for my snacks tomorrow. They smell amazing.
